Laziness made me Smarter
I have a long-term mission. I want to get lazy, and successful. I want people to do works for me. I want people to make money for me. Haaahaha. In order to get lazy, I need to be intelligent enough, work my ass off in the mean time so that in the future I can live my life as lazy and slow as a fucking sloth.

Aku ingat lagi malam exam SPM dulu, bila semua orang sibuk-sibuk stay up. Aku tidur awal and main phone kat dorm. Aku berasa poyo gila time tu. Time tu ada Liya, Qila dengan Wawa. Aku tak tahu apa yang diorang fikir pasal aku macam, eksennya Aan, tak nak last minute study. Tak pun diorang tengok aku macam orang give up awal, fucked up big time. Padahal aku dah study awal2. (Kot). Aku pun tak tau bila aku study, maybe dalam kelas aku tumpukan perhatian. (Yeke?) Dalam kelas, dari awal form 4 sampai seminggu before SPM, aku sibuk tulis novel DEVIAN . Atas popular demand, aku type balik novel yang aku tulis kat notepad ke soft copy. (Diligent tak aku?, Hahahaha). Aku mostly akan khusyuk tulis novel, sambil pakai earphone, dengar mp3 player merah jenama Phillips. Kalau tiba-tiba cikgu panggil, Nabila akan notify aku. See, I am not a diligent student, but then, maybe there's time that I studied hard. Biology for instance, my favorite subject. When Cikgu Naudi taught us, i really2 gave 100% of my attention.
Back to our topic, the cognitive links between intelligence and laziness. I know I sound like a fucking professor when I'm serious. When you are both intelligence and lazy, you tend to know what you need and how to earn it in the quickest way possible. THE SHORT CUT. When you are lazy, you might go creative, explore some new way of doing things faster with less effort applied. This entry was inspired by the true event that happened to me last breakfast, using my regular solution. I bought a pack of fried rice from the canteen. The canteen Mak Cik said, "No spoon, finished yesterday". Back to my room, too lazy to take a spoon from the pantry (which I need to wash upon used) and too lazy also to wash my hand before eating, I just customized my own spoon from the stryrofoam container. Welp, it fulfilled the function I needed. I've been using this technique since forever I cannot remember.
It looks like a disposable spoon |
And it is, for god sake! |
People said, gifted and talented people are ofter lazy, carefree about their life. Wearing the same clothes over and over again during their lifetime, referring to Steve Job (..and protecting my mainstream yellow, leopard tudung). Forget what people say, this is how society nowadays ruined your mind. People only being impressed when looking at successful people that can relax and letting others do their job, and seeing them as lazy/carefree. People won't bother to see those so-called 'gifted and talented' past when they were working their ass off to achieve what they have now.
The Gifted and Talented. They do exist in real life. While some people had to double up their effort, driven by their passion to achieve something. Some people can just easily work their way at a slow pace and have better outcomes than the diligent one. But it won't last long if they're lazy in a stupid way. I tell you, your so-called talents deplete over time. I.Q is bliss, where the researcher said 80% of a child I.Q came from the maternal side (Clark, 1988). Weh, my mom only attended secondary school. And.. having a high I.Q. doesn't mean that you're going to be talented. It just means that you have the ability to store and process more data.
Okay, I am lazy now to write.
