Movie Review #1: Our Times - 我的少女時代 (2015) Taiwanese Drama

My first Taiwanese drama ever. And it was so nice, I laughed like a maniac, spirit-lifted like an army and shed tears like a crybaby. Since I didn't watch Taiwanese stuff often, I never knew the actor before. But what I can say, their acting left me with some impact, - 'It's time for romance, Aan'. Hahahahhaha.

(Yup, I'm being honest. This story made me feel like I am longing for love. \\Slap on face)


The movie starred Darren Wang (Hsu Taiyu), Dino Lee (Ouyang) and Vivian Sung (Lin). Lol, I googled them.

Ouyang, Lin, Hsu Taiyu, Pretty Girl

Synopsis

Ouyang is the perfect cool guy, with a guitar, basketball player, good academic. Every girl loves her. This includes Lin, the nerdy girl with ugly hairstyle and old-fashioned glasses. And my favorite character! Hsu Taiyu, the gangster student, with Andy Lau-hairstyled-hair. LOL. So, after a funny accident involving a chain-letter that can bring bad luck to the person ignoring it, Lin become a friend and a slave to Hsu Taiyu. From completing his homeworks to buying his food, Lin finally made a pact with Hsu Taiyu. Both of them planned to separate Ouyang and another pretty girl (I fucking dont know her name). So that, Hsu Taiyu can get the girl, and Lin can get Ouyang). During the process, Lin become too closed to Hsu Taiyu and developed feeling for the gangster. Hsu Taiyu too, has changed from a deviant to somewhat.. a better and well-behaved gangster, LOL. 

Sadly, their mission accomplished, Hsu Taiyu got the pretty girl and Lin got Ouyang. Though they all look happy together in couples, but their hearts were not feeling the real love they ever wanted. So,....

You need to watch it, please! It is so good. And you'll cry with the tears of love at the ending.  I had a night of temporary-major-crush for Hsu Taiyu (Darren Wang). Cause every girl is stupid and will always fall for the bad guy. Gahhhhhhhhhh. Things to reflect on this movie. 

1. You'll hurt yourself if you just keep your love-feeling to yourself and never tell the person on that. \\It burnt me

2. When you love (100%) a certain human, LOL. You are willing to do everything for them, to make them happy. Including helping with the one that they love, and that particular one is not you.  \\It kills me. Dead
