Goodbye Sketchbook 03!
I can't wait for the Inktober 2017.
And my 2016's sketchbook is already filled with my free time scribbles and last year's Inktober sketches. I don't do serious inking sketch often, first it's a dirty hobby that will leave ink stains all over the side of my right hand, second, I don't watch things that can inspire me to sketch often; i don't watch anime (wait, is Voltron considered as an anime? lol) And my friends that can invoke my 'I-also-can-sketch' mood are not here as they're busy with their own stuff.
So this post is a farewell to my old sketchbook. Rest in peace, Obey. I shall leave some of the sketches inside the book here. Some of the awfully failed sketches, sketches with some back stories, or inspired by some characters/fanarts/etc.
That 'Obey' sticker was self printed. Such a hypebeast rite? lol
I bought this sketchbook at Master Art, Cyberjaya. RM7.90. I was working at Behn Meyer during that time, as Corporate Marketing Executive. Lol, sounds like a far-fetched position. You know when it's hard to look for the career you like (UI-UX), you just apply for whatever career you can do while looking for a better options. That's me. Now, after a year, I'm a UX designer. Finally bitch~
This illustration was inspired by The Lost Tomb - a China mainland drama. Perghh, I love intense tomb-raiding, treasure hunting, archeological thriller story plot. Two main characters are the mysterious guy named Pokerface, and the friendly guy, Wu Xie. Both so effing handsome.
Pokerface & Wu Xie. |
I love watching to Sci-Fi, tech stuffs related to weaponry. So when my head is full with that kind of thing, i will draw them out.
One day, I heard about isotopes of Thulium,
so I had to sketch some illustration about a boy who survived a radioactive explosion and being discovered after 3 months. lol. Legit right?
I DONT like to draw woman, girl. But I have some of them here anyway.
This one down here is pretty lol.
So, that boy grew up inside the lab to become a heartless (?) boy. Idk.
I watched this 'Monkey King' movie and it was awesome, so I draw my own version of it.
I like future mechanical weaponry, robots or transportations.
And motorcycles too.
Oh, This is Keith, my first ever OC.
